I love collars. I use them to connect irregular or disparate shapes together. I used these clamps to clamp together the pet barrier support posts in the back of my wife's SUV. Without brackets, the horizontal bars tended to slide down the vertical bars, allowing Fido to move forward in the car. Now that they are attached, the problem is resolved and the Fido is securely locked in the rear hold. But back to the clamps: these clamps were strong enough to provide enough torque so there was no loosening or slippage. I would buy them again if I need them for another project.
