the one problem is that there is no way to fasten this valve to a flat surface because there is no mounting bracket on it. I did design one that works pretty well but if they would provide one, even if the price was higher, it would be wonderful. i had to have a bracket because the lines for supply and discharge were rubber not steel or copper. outside of that it is a good valve.

Could not get this items threads to properly seal to 1/2” NPT. I am assuming that the threads are not cut accurately or overseas they are cutting with the closest millimeter. tried two different types of thread tape and paste as well as the thread paste, can’t use the sealing paste because this can’t be permanent. Manufacturing needs to check thread tolerances.

Fuel shut off valve on 720 John Deere tractor. Had to fabricate a mounting bracket to install but never have worry about turning valve off or on again. Turns on with ignition and shuts off with engine,no expecting the needle valve to hold back full tank.

Works as advertised, but gets very hot. I wouldn't trust it for long-term use, only short on-and-off cycles. In my application, I was using a temperature sensor to turn it on and the solenoid got so hot, it never turned off. I replaced it with a valve that uses a motorized ball valve, which worked better.

These are a very good value for your money, they don't leak and looks as if they will last a very long time. Worth the money That's my feedback.

Regardless of wether it has power or not it will let water pass. I can blow through it right out or the box. Furthermore it started smoking after a few minutes.

I keep getting sucked into this quagmire, While these valves are advertised as 1/2 in. NPT ports in the details, (all sizes say NPT in details), these valves all are British BSPT straight threads and NPT nipples or male pipe will bottom out and not seal correctly. I had seen the feedback about the problem with less detail. I shot craps knowing that I was using very low pressure and could use an adapter if necessary. You can buy these. I have before when this happened. Your first hint of trouble

I've purchased 6x of these. Using for garden irrigation. Cannot get a water tight seal on the majority of them. Water pressure is 45 psi so that's within spec of the valve. I used 1/2 NPT connectors to the inlet and outlet of the valve body with pipe dope, and 9 of the 12 connections have small leaks. Reinstalled mail connection multiple times with progressively higher torque each time until threads are maxed out; still leaking.I'm no noob to plumbing, I've had a woodshop with extensive 150 psi

I have 4 of these in use now for irrigation projects and so far so good. My oldest one is about 2 years old. Compare the cost to Asco and there's no contest.

The small size made it easy to install. I was able to convert my lincoln 125 flux core welder to a mig welder and save over$300 by not buying the factory conversion kit.
