Worked great on my Envoy, 15% off what the GM parts seller wanted. For their price they had to install them, fill the gas tank, then wash and oil the car! Instructions are not included so proceed: 1) Have another person open the tailgate (or park under a tree and secure to a sturdy branch with heavy duty ratchet straps). DO NOT support it with a broom. You hit the stick and fall into your own mousetrap! 2) Use a small flathead screwdriver to pry the steel clips off the old bracket (at the ends). Remove and replace one at a time so there is some resistance when your assistant drops the sunroof on you. 3) Remove the old support piston assembly from the lugs. 4) Unscrew the old tabs and replace with the kit provided if you wish (I didn't as the OEM parts are probably better than steel and there was no wear). 5) Align the hole on the side of the piston with the top tab and tap with the back of your hand. It is not necessary to remove the mounting clips on the new supports to install them. Then finish by tapping the hole in the end of the pole against the bottom tab. 6) Repeat the same on the other side. You should probably wear safety goggles as there is a chance the mount could come loose and get in your eye when you remove it. A helmet can also come in handy in case your assistant drops the tailgate on you. Of course he'll hit you in the lower back, so maybe body armor should be fine. Or just walk around barefoot in blue jeans like me.
