Best in class but fails to finish

Let's face it, it's hard to find a good monitor. I was looking for the closest possible pro/gaming crossover and this was the best I could find. I spend a lot of time programming and gaming. I need a curved widescreen to game on with near-instant rendering and the largest widescreen form factor that comes close to the 4K clarity I'm used to. 3860 x 1600 is pretty good, a few hundred pixels less than I actually wanted, but it's enough to hide any Minecraft-style blocking text and images. What disappointed me the most was the crappy LG software that came with this device. This is complete nonsense and it was impossible to get PBP working and support didn't help. For that reason, I'm still close to returning while I have time. Otherwise it overclocks, which I don't care, pulling the default 165Hz, native gsync, and 1ms response time. I wish there were less HDMI and more display ports, and it would be great if it supported USB-C with USB pass-through for active inputs. That's why I give 4 stars. It's not quite right for the price, but you won't find anything quite like it. Update: After a few months of use I can say that this monitor is not worth the money. I want to resell it and try something different. In all possible configurations, ghosting is terrible and macOS compatibility is a long way off (120Hz over DP1.4, but colors are terrible and calibration doesn't help).
