I tried Frizz Wrangler and the Volumizing Orange Spice shampoos on my fine, pixie-style hair. I love both! Both leave my hair clean, soft, not weighed down, full of volume, and with no build up so far. FW is my every-day go-to. It had more moisturizers and I swim 2x a week in chlorine. Since the orange spice has sea salt, I don’t want to use it every day and risk dryness. However, I use the orange spice version if I’m going out or I don’t want to wash my hair for a day after I use it. Both shampoos have made it so I can go a day without washing (something I couldn’t do before because just a little oil weighs my hair down), but the sea salt makes it easier to style without washing again. If I wash my hair before bed, I wake up with a pompadour! :)Both have great scents, but not overpowering. Just a swipe or two brings up tons of lather. And of course it’s fantastic that they are plastic-free, biodegradable packaging and ingredients, and ethically sourced.I pair them with the Guardian conditioner.Side note: I saw another reviewer with fine hair will sometimes forgo conditioner altogether with FW. I tried this and my hair had tons of volume and wave, was soft, and stayed perky into the next day. I might do this now and then to save time, but not every day.TIP: I tried the samples first and switched to the full bars almost immediately. The samples are the perfect travel sizes. My husband liked the Heali Kiwi and Wonderbar, so it’s perfect for us. Easier than trying to cut a chunk from or packing the whole large bar.
