PROS: Slim frame, bright picture, touch operation. CONS: Slightly thin design due to the ultra-thin screen. GENERAL: This is an excellent LED monitor. It has best-in-class image sharpness, vibrant colors, an extremely thin profile, and good menu options for customization. My device has perfect backlight uniformity (no smudges on the gray screen test) and no pixel issues. The 21.5-inch screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, which ensures incredible clarity due to the small pixel size. Like other reviewers, I was initially a bit concerned about the flimsy attachment of the screen to the base, but after reading over 100 reviews of this monitor, no one ever complained that their monitor was damaged. The electronics are housed in the stand, which allows the screen to be extremely thin (like the iPhone 4 is thin) and adds extra weight to the base for stability. The power supply is a separate power supply that comes standard with most LED monitors. All in all, the AOC e2243F is an excellent monitor that offers incredible value for money - much higher build quality and sophisticated design than any other LED monitor in its class.
