Wow! I didn't expect these tires to make such a difference but they are! I have a Trek Fuel EX7 with 2.3" Bontrager tires. I've always felt that Bontrager tires don't have that much grip and feel bad on rocky trails. So I rode them at very low PSI (in my teenage years) but kept going down rocky terrain. When I got these tires I was able to get the PSI down to the low 20's and still had a lot more grip. hiking trails. With them I roll confidently and without hesitation over sharp-edged rocks. I am very happy with these tires. Despite being more aggressive, I haven't noticed any increased rolling resistance.
