Great all round and race tire

These are some of the best tires I have ever owned. I mainly use them on my Specialized FSR road bike and they grip and hold the ground well. rolling resistance is minimal; so you can really go Better construction and quality than similarly priced Continental tires. I would classify them as Schwalbe tire quality even though they are a bit heavier than Racing Ralphs. However, they are very strong and the sidewalls hold up well in the Texas Hill Country.

Very satisfied! - Tires

Wow! I didn't expect these tires to make such a difference but they are! I have a Trek Fuel EX7 with 2.3" Bontrager tires. I've always felt that Bontrager tires don't have that much grip and feel bad on rocky trails. So I rode them at very low PSI (in my teenage years) but kept going down rocky terrain. When I got these tires I was able to get the PSI down to the low 20's and still had a lot more grip. hiking trails. With them I roll confidently and without hesitation over sharp-edged rocks. Iโ€ฆ

Too narrow at the edge. Extremely difficult to work with.

Good tyres, sure, but too tight on the rim and I can't wait for them to wear out. Especially since they appear to be throne magnets. One afternoon in my shop, I removed over 20 small spikes from the case with a magnifying glass. Yes, these tires have had more flats than any other tire I've ridden in my entire life. I don't know why because I ride the same trails all the time and avoid the spikes. In fact, my bike is now on the shelf in my shop, where it sat for a week while I checked for leaks.

So far this is the best compromise I've found in terms of weight, speed, durability, versatility, cost and handling. I have a second set and have ridden them on a variety of surfaces and conditions. They set up easily for tubeless use and seem to work equally well with UST or Stan's spec rims. I've never rolled a tire or had a puncture in the sometimes rough and rocky conditions of central Texas. I ride them on both wheels. Like any tire, they lose traction and flex over time and need to beโ€ฆ

The tire broke on the first ride!

I purchased a Maxxis EXO Double Compound Ardent Folding 27.5" x 2.4" tire from Revain. I waited several months before installing it on my bike. About 10 km after my first ride on asphalt, dirt and gravel on a new tire I noticed a crack in the tire. The crack started at the rim on the left side of the tire and progressed to the rim on the right side of the tire. The tube protruded through a slit on the right side of the tire. As I waited a few months for the tire to be fitted, I was unable toโ€ฆ

the profile is decent. good connection. Operating without chambers, it held air for several days without sealant. I haven't tested it yet but I think it's a great tyre. with 27.5 x 2.25 and Maxxis DHF 2.3 in front. definitely more driving safety compared to the wtb trail boss. These are really sticky tires for a hardpack in central Arizona. Have I seen numerous Maxxis tires wobble due to misalignment? and a little embarrassing that such an expensive tire wobbles so much. I've tried mounting and
