I purchased a Maxxis EXO Double Compound Ardent Folding 27.5" x 2.4" tire from Revain. I waited several months before installing it on my bike. About 10 km after my first ride on asphalt, dirt and gravel on a new tire I noticed a crack in the tire. The crack started at the rim on the left side of the tire and progressed to the rim on the right side of the tire. The tube protruded through a slit on the right side of the tire. As I waited a few months for the tire to be fitted, I was unable to return it via Revain. I contacted Maxxis directly through their website and so far have been ignored. Customer service and quality control seem to be lacking. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any other Maxxis tire at all.
