. The first thing that struck me was that it's surprisingly large, heavy, and bulky: I've had at least half a dozen kneepads, and this one is a whale. So he has an inflatable bladder, maybe that's why. Next: inflatable bubble. The hand pump connection is awkward and slow to inflate, but the biggest issue is the location of the valve on the yoke. The instructions say to attach the orthosis to the leg, ie attaching both straps, and then attaching the pump. Yes. but the top strap covers the valve so the only way to inflate the brace is to do so first and then tighten the top strap. But the top strap goes over the valve, so it's difficult to tighten. Finally the valve seems to be leaking because when I tried to empty it there was no air in it. It's actually hard to tell if it's inflated because the brace is so heavy and bulky. So I went back to the drawing board.
