Review on Future Way Tennis Elbow Brace: Adjustable Compression Sleeve with Dual-Spring Stabilizer for Men and Women by Ashwin Chauhan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally one that stays in place.

I fractured my elbow 40 years ago and had my radial head removed 25 years ago. I've tried pretty much every product on the market to stabilize my woeful single bone elbow and help with severe arthritis pain. The bulky metal hoops serve a purpose, but they look too Frankenstein-like to be used for long hours every day. These braces are pretty amazing for a tiny investment compared to these. At first glance it seems that many other sleeves. Look again. I've ruined hundreds of tops when the Velcro or the raw edge of the braces got caught in the fabric. This bandage has rounded edges that protect your clothing from velcro. This actually allows me to place "tabs" on the outside or inside of my hand, which can be very helpful when putting this on without help. Also, most adjustable sleeves have a single Velcro strap at the end of the tongue that wraps around to secure. If your hand is smaller, the brace will come out of the groin and need constant adjustment. This bandage has an additional Velcro square that holds the tongue in a second location. Genius! I can wear it all day without much adjustment. My biceps are about 10.5 inches and the square velcro is just perfect for the outer seam of the brace. The same goes for my forearm at 9.75 inches. (If yours is much larger this velcro may catch on your skin.) They wash well with mild soap and hand wash, dry. I'm used to having something on my arm almost every waking moment. It's one of the best I've found for feeling a little support - thanks to the steel inserts - and still moving and feeling as comfortable as you can expect when wearing an orthotic. I currently keep spares wherever I might need them: cars, boats, UTVs, luggage, wallets, etc. just in case. Have ordered several times and have never been disappointed. I think maybe I should delete this review instead of posting it. It seems a good nanny or a good pediatrician, you will not tell anyone else they will disappear!

Pros
  • Bilateral brace
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
