I bought this backpack because it was A from Prime and B from 'Revane's Choice' which I hope you will rate after receiving this return/review. The box I received in the mail smelled of melting plastic as soon as I opened it, which is one of the issues considering my pet would ride in it if I ventilated it properly. Second, they covered the backpack with a transparent film to protect it from scratches, which is pretty ironic considering it got scratched. I don't care - I don't care about scratches, after all my little friend scratches sooner or later. The problem with the foil I had was that it literally got caught under the edges of the sealed fabric and also over the metal air rings, which kept my chinchilla from sticking his head or arm out to chew, the toxic material was intentionally applied to the product placed . My biggest issue with this product is the straps. There are no straps at the bottom to attach the top to. The straps you see behind the ones I'm holding are sewn into the fabric, and the bottom of the straps I'm holding aren't attached to anything below the backpack below. I tried tightening the middle straps but the backpack was up to my neck right away and I don't want to be choked or grabbed by the backpack instead of wearing it when I go out. I hope the responders and owners of this backpack can resolve this issue for future customers as I will not be returning.
