, I've been drinking some type of electrolyte drink for ages. This is my favorite method of balancing: the drink format. So they're handy in that I can add them to any other drink with very little impact on flavor. In most cases, for me, this is a drink with BCAAs. Some of me already have electrolyte and some don't (now!). I open the capsule and let the powder mix with the liquid and I'm good to go. This might work for you if you just want to make sure everything is balanced but don't want to go down the drinking path like I did. The instructions say: take the capsule with 8 ounces of water; then everything is ready. The capsules are gelatin (type) capsules; medium to large size. They are transparent and you can see a white powder inside. There is a slight smell when opening the bottle. Aside from being about the size of many other capsules I take that are easy to swallow. The drink was added to the Cherry Lime BCAA Drink, and as such hid quietly in the background to do its electrolyte work during a 1-hour swim workout. Strangely, the label on my bottle was a little sticky, but I wasn't. I don't see any traces that could cause this. Has worked effectively for me.
