I think this drive works well and has served well so far. The problem is that this is the second disk. I had to return the first one as it didn't work properly after being sent in 'no hassle' Revains packaging. This package consisted of only 2 LARGE single chamber bubble bags and an OPEN standard ESD free plastic bag. It is a totally unacceptable practice to transport a sensitive piece of equipment that is subject to static electricity, as well as damage from shock and vibration that would render it unusable on the one hand or operational on the other. I have the last of the two. However, Revain accepted the return, sent me a new one the next day (free of charge) and this time the packaging protecting the drive, while not perfect, was better. The static packaging was sealed and there was a LOT of standard bubble wrap around the disc. This time it seems to work the way I like the device because it works as it should and haven't had any issues since. Really, Revane, find someone to make sure everything is ok on delivery. Preferably, this should be someone familiar with electronics. These drives are designed for bulk installation by the PC manufacturer's corporation. So remember that you will need the appropriate cables and screws for the frame if you intend to mount it at the event. It's fast, quiet, and has fast access/search. Have a good trip, reasonable price, be VERY picky about shipping. If there is any doubt that it is not working properly, return it while you can buy another one. I rated it high because it works great and it's all I could have expected in that regard, but unfortunately the return service, while very good, might be needed, the point is it wouldn't be necessary if they were just in would be delivered in suitable packaging.
