Review on 🚗 CAR ROVER Dustproof Headlight Seal Covers for H1 H4 H7 H11 H13 9005 9006 9012 HID LED Conversion Kit - Pack of 2 by John Clark

VERY SATISFIED with this purchase! My wife's commuter car (Sonata '04) was VERY badly in need of upgraded headlight bulbs, so I bought a pair of Fonday H7 bright white LEDs (which by the way the Revain install manual said they wouldn't fit, but I guess it's by-for the length combined with standard dust covers, which is why I bought these universal dust covers. AND HAPPY I did!). Between the length of the lamp body, the external ballast and the standard Hyundai dust covers, there would not be enough room for the built-in fans to do their job properly and protect the lamps from overheating. Not wanting to cut into the plastic dust covers or alter their integrity, I decided to try them instead, and for the price ($6.12 + tax for a used pair: like-new condition) I thought it was an option that had it was worth exploring. . With the help of my brother-in-law (a heavy equipment mechanic) we figured out how to position these covers (essentially sitting back to front with the tapered end facing the engine) so that the headlight lens remains free of dirt/dust and moisture, with only the back facing remains free The lamp housing (where the fans are located), which leaves enough space for the fans to operate and, in addition to the lens, also protects the light bulb and ballast from the weather. I've taken this a step further by zip tying the boot/rubber universal covers which have kept everything safe and sound so far. For $6.12 I currently have FULLY shielded and protected low beam headlights (and WAS DIFFICULT that fonday LED bulbs on dark desert roads (Victorville to Piñon Hills, trip to California) compared to the (virtually non-existent/useless) standard MUCH better visibility than halogen bulbs For less than $30 I was able to SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVE the low beam and protect my investment with these AMAZING universal dust covers.
