Review on 🌬️ Emerson Quiet Kool 5,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Remote Control, EARC5RD1, White - 115V by Julia Cano

Well we didn't hate it, it's quiet and pretty easy to install. Bought for our utility room size 11x11. The recommended system was 5000 BTU with remote control. For some reason the remote control did not sync with the control panel. Reset the setting each time. The fan was also very weak for such a small area. The compressor also started every time the remote control was used. We were told to turn it off and then restart. The same again when the remote control was used. Revane said we could bring him back. It took me some effort to insulate the window and complete the installation, but the unit kept working because it couldn't reach a low enough temperature. This is the first time I've had an issue with an Emerson product, but it just isn't reliable enough to trust on very warm days. Just not a workhorse for such a small space. Will get a large unit and look at other units before buying another one. I cannot recommend this system.
