Let's just say you get what you pay for. I have a feeling it's less than a year old. Suitable for BMW R90/6 normal. UPDATE: It's been over a year since I've been using them (I have two) and I have to say they're holding up pretty well. Note that my bikes are under a canopy so they don't get extremely exposed, but still. I would recommend. My other bike is an '85 BMW K100, which I think could have been a size down.
