I have used many different rice cookers; Taiwanese, Japanese and American brands, this is my first Panasonic and Micom. I'll start with the advantages: light weight + handle, very convenient to lift and store. Parts that need to be cleaned after each use are also very easy to remove and reinstall. It looks good. Cons: Cooking (regular) rice takes too long! I don't know exactly how long, but at least 40 minutes + for 3 cups of white rice (regular), the rice came out a bit dense (I use Nishiki). The time for porridge and slow cooking is not adjustable. I haven't used the other function yet.
