Review on πŸ”§ Walker 36153 Exhaust Clamp Strap: Secure & Durable Exhaust System Connector by Jared Coleman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Update: I can't stand the Wisconsin winter.

UPDATE (2 years later): I live in Wisconsin and the tape survived two summers and about 1.5 winters. Given that the original strap lasted eight years, I don't think the durability of this product is good enough. with this product. Otherwise I would consider going with a GM strap for about double the price. He's worth his money. I recently bought a second one just because it was all that was available at my local auto parts store and I don't want my original muffler (which is still in great condition) to be lost due to a missing belt. By the way, the screw included with my last purchase was only threaded for about 1/3 of its length, as you can see on the current product image. It was too small to securely attach the strap to my 2005 Cavalier's muffler. I ended up using my old threaded bolt all the way through and in surprisingly good condition. but anything but thin. The yoke on top was welded slightly crooked, but not enough to cause any installation issues. Very strong for a cheap replacement part and easy to repair yourself. It was probably possible to do without a jack.

Pros
  • Hangers, clamps and flanges
Cons
  • The list will be long.
