Review on Bose Wave Radio II Platinum by Katie Washington

This is my fourth Bose radio. I have one in my kitchen, one in my bedroom and one in my office that I have used for years. The sound is great, as advertised, and the remote control is a nice feature as the radios are placed some distance away so you can easily mute or turn down the volume on phone calls if needed. The only negative I can say is my fourth and newest radio. I have a big tour style bus in my van. The radio is on a console near the door and the remote control is stowed next to my seat in the living room. Room. Since new radios no longer have controls on the top, I have to go back to the remote in my chair when I go out for the day instead of just hitting the off button on the top as I walk out the door. The selling price of the product remained the same, while the cost of production was reduced by eliminating the need to control the radio. I would switch the RV radio to one from home except my home is in Illinois and my RV is parked and stored in Arizona. and that would require me to take the radio with me on my flight or to pack and ship it, which I don't want to do.
