This product does exactly what it's supposed to do. You switch it and the oils will pull any bacteria out of your mouth, then you spit it in the trash instead of the sink to avoid clogging the pipes. Just common sense. You cannot swallow this product as you will ingest all the bacteria that are extremely harmful to your digestive tract and YES you will likely end up in the ER. That too is common sense. I don't understand the review saying this knowledge is a "red flag" but why would you even take potentially dangerous bacteria? This product works very well and the taste is not as bad as some people say. They ingest oil and essential oils, so expect a certain taste. After all, you're killing bacteria and making your mouth healthier, which is the sole purpose of oil pulling.
