We were looking for a two step stool, preferably with the seat and back like a high chair, but they are now quite rare and expensive by comparison. We have retired and no longer live near our grandchildren, so we decided that a dual-use high chair wasn't really needed. This ladder was perfect for getting to high places like changing lightbulbs on the ceiling without climbing the ladder. My wife also has a collection of soup tureens that she hangs over her wall units which she can now reach with this stool and it is very sturdy and the frame rises just enough to be secure and to grab something.
