So the idea is great, but there are two main drawbacks. 1. Sockets require a lot of force to fully insert appliance plugs. This will either cause the connector to stick out slightly exposing the pins (unsafe) or you will have to pull hard or use force to pull the connector out. (my girlfriend had a hell of a time turning off her laptop). Another serious disadvantage of my device are the USB ports. There are two of these on the same side and they are so close together that there are many USB cables that are so thick that I can only connect one at a time (which is frustrating since there is so much space on that side). . To top it off, the USB ports stopped charging my phone after a single use, forcing me to use outlets with USB power adapters. All in all, great idea, miserable execution.
