Just wanted to update: I've been using the same mount for a few months now and it still works great. I've been looking for an iPhone 7 mount in my Ford Explorer for months. Nothing seems to work. All those mounts or suction cup holders never last long or don't work at all. Sticky material dries out after a while or suction does not work. I even spent over $28 on one and had to return it within days. However, I then tried this mount. To my amazement and satisfaction, it actually works as advertised. Not only did it cost half as much as the previous one when I tried it, but it's actually been working well for a few weeks now and I've had no problems with it at all. Of course it works when partially inserted into the CD player slot if you have one, but it's worth it because you can always use the radio, USB stick etc. or your iPhone. I highly recommend this item. But it's still plastic so read and follow the instructions, take your time and you shouldn't have any problems with it and it should work just fine.
