Review on 📻 BaoFeng UV-82C Dual-Band FM Ham Two-Way Radio with Battery, Earpiece, Antenna, Charger - Enhanced Performance and Versatility by Ashwin Chauhan

I really wanted this radio to please, especially since it can listen to 2 frequencies at the same time and has a double PTT. Unfortunately my use requires headphones and there appears to be an issue with the audio design of this headphone radio. There was an unbearably loud popping sound in the headset or earphones when turning on the radio, changing channels, or when the radio begins to receive a broadcast. This makes it impossible to use with a headset or headphones if you value your hearing. I tried 3 of these radios (including an RMA replacement for the crackling issue) and all 3 had horrible pops in the headset so I ended up returning them. I've tried several different headsets and headphones and they all showed an error, so I can assume there is a problem with the sound circuitry. The clicks do not come from the built-in speaker. So if you only use that one the radio should work great for you.
