Review on ☕ Takeya Patented Deluxe Cold Brew Coffee Maker: The Ultimate 1 qt Black Experience by Jessica Morris

This Takeya cold brew jug is beautiful! I know a lot of people use Mason jars, but I wanted something lighter and lighter (and cheaper!). I have used Takeya products before and have been impressed with their durability and ease of cleaning. There are only 4 pieces in this cold brew pitcher; Pitcher, handle, lid and coffee filter. The coffee filter is extremely fine-meshed and does not let even the smallest coffee grounds through. It's really easy to clean! A filter filled with your favorite coffee (I find unflavored coffee tastes best when brewed cold) is then screwed into the lid. When you have filled the jug about 85% full with filtered water, put the filter (already attached to the lid) into the filled jug and screw it on! The coffee tastes good for 8 hours but gets strongest after 24 hours and stays fresh for up to 72 hours in my opinion. Remember that you are brewing a coffee concentrate as about 1 cup of ground coffee is used to brew. Mix with 2 parts water or you will. Well be like me who didn't read the directions and stayed up til 3am on a caffeine high lol. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!
