Lightweight, great filter and you can't beat the price!

I really like this cold brewer. At first I was sad that it's 100% plastic and not glass, but I realized that if you're the kind of camper who needs coffee as soon as they get up, you can take something like this with you on a hike/camping trip. I used to use a simple press kettle as a cold brewer, but it left sediment in the last cup; It has a very good filter that is very thin and the whole thing is very easy to clean. Suggested Tips: If you simply fill the filter and then plunge it into a…

Ideal for everyone.

Advantages: very easy to use and clean. Like it's ridiculously easy. A solid product, I left it empty and full on purpose just to "test" if it's leaking or broken. Disadvantages: Low liquid volume. I highly recommend. Use it at your own discretion. However, I do the following: I brew coffee for 20-30 hours. I pour coffee into a large container. I mix milk, cream and flavorings in one container. I drink it at once because it's so delicious. To kid. I needed a day or two. But I drink a lot of…

Yes! #coldbrewlife

This Takeya cold brew jug is beautiful! I know a lot of people use Mason jars, but I wanted something lighter and lighter (and cheaper!). I have used Takeya products before and have been impressed with their durability and ease of cleaning. There are only 4 pieces in this cold brew pitcher; Pitcher, handle, lid and coffee filter. The coffee filter is extremely fine-meshed and does not let even the smallest coffee grounds through. It's really easy to clean! A filter filled with your favorite…

Should have bought sooner!

Great cold brew system! We delayed the purchase for so long. We have Keurig and just put the brewed coffee in the fridge overnight. But since our Keurig seems to be dying, it's time to look at other options. I wish we had done this sooner! This system is very easy to use - add coffee of your choice and water, chill and wait for the next day. That's all! Such a light, tasty coffee that will do for both of us. It fits easily on a shelf or door. We are considering buying a second one because my…

Easy and affordable way to make iced coffee

I've always preferred cold drinks to hot ones, so imagine my delight when companies started selling ready made iced coffee at the grocery store. At around $7 a bottle, buying this coffee cost me more than making my own hot coffee and adding ice. That was until I was browsing YouTube and saw one of my favorite users pouring herself a cold drink from the fridge. Looking for something similar, I immediately switched to Revain and found this product. After comparing prices and reviews, I decided to

Many flaws with coffee, tea and espresso

Firstly, due to the weight and volume adding coffee grounds, you don't get 2 liters of coffee. I make coffee on the weekends so I don't have to bother with it on weekdays when I'm busy getting ready for work. I thought 2 liters would give me 4 servings (I drink at least 2 cups of black coffee in the morning) but that only gives me about 3 servings. by eye how much water you're pouring (unless you measure the water in advance, which is an extra tedious step that I don't need or don't need). The…

All about relationships.

So I have the 1 and 2 liter versions. At first I used the directions with the number of tablespoons for each but found that the flavor and strength were lacking compared to the cold beer I drink from cafes. After reading online I got a better understanding of the coffee to water ratio. Here are some things I've learned. 1) If you're grinding the beans yourself, you'll want them to be a bit coarser. This helps with extraction and prevents coffee grounds from getting into your drink. 2) If you…
