Perfect for my needs

I work from home and my happy spot is on my sofa/chaise longue near my window watching people walking their dogs and watching the world go by. I worked with my laptop on my lap for months which was terrible for my neck and back. I saw a similar product somewhere on the internet and went in search of a cheaper alternative to Revain. There are so many to choose from! As usual, I looked at dozens of products and read reviews. Here's why it works for me: * It's adjustable. I can work from my couch and be reasonably ergonomic, or I can sit at my desk and work standing. After playing around with the corners for a while I found a setup that is pretty stable. It took some effort - I had a setup for a while where I liked the angles, but it was too heavy top/front and my laptop tended to tilt towards me.* My mouse fits. When I get up I move the stand, so I always pull the mouse off it, which isn't ideal, but it's a much better solution than using the couch cushion as a mouse pad. can be used or not. My laptop doesn't get very hot, but I like that I can cool it (and myself!) whenever I want. everything works as it should.* This is as stable as can be under the circumstances. It tends to lean to starboard a bit from sitting on the sofa cushions, so I use a starboard thought book to flatten it out a bit. * There are cheaper versions and more expensive versions. there. This gave me the features I wanted without spending a fortune. A few days after the installation I had a meeting with friends at home. When they saw it, everyone wanted a link to it. I'm pretty sure some of them bought their own.
