I bought these bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs in my landscape headlights. I did a comparison and they were a lot brighter compared to a 20 watt equivalent halogen bulb. The only thing that was different was the length of the stylus, despite being the MR16 equivalent. In the end they work great! Much better option than halogen. They last longer, draw less power from the transformer, and are brighter! I would pay the same amount at the hardware store for 3 halogen bulbs as for 10 LED bulbs, which outperform the halogen bulb in every category on Amazon. I highly recommend replacing all your light bulbs with these LEDs, it makes perfect sense! I will check the lifespan of these lamps. I have halogen bulbs that have kept me outdoors for 8 years and am very curious to see if they will pass the test. We will find out!
