Not quite sure why I haven't bought this yet. Perfect! I have previously bought a shaker with a strainer lid and hated it. The lid was not removed, the screen could not be removed once it had dried out. I ordered it right away. I figured if all real bartenders use a Boston shaker, it probably works just fine. It really is, no frills, lots of chills for a few small bills! I ordered a Hamilton colander like the one in the picture (sorry for the knife, it has nothing to do with my mixology :) and it's just as easy to mix cocktails with it. Closes perfectly and can be easily released with a click on the back. Easy to clean and folds up well for storage. I put my jigger and screen on it and it sits next to my glasses.
