Perfect fit. These hood lifters are perfect for my 2003 C240. It's easier with two people as the bonnet is a bit heavy, especially since the previous bonnet lifters have been removed. Tips.1. Don't throw away your previous lifting jacket. You need to add new ones in it.2. You will need a flat head screwdriver or similar to open the clips. There is one at each end.3. Make sure the red button lifter is on the driver's side or the same side the original was removed from. It allows you to use the service mode (lifts the hood straight up). Excellent replacement part. Excellent value for money, especially considering the mechanic asked for $250.
