Formula change Suitable for cats

I have been using this product for a long time and I feel it is helping my 15 year old cat with kidney failure. When I opened the last bottle I noticed that the granules had darkened and the smell was different. I gave him a mix of old and new bottles of this product. He ate two pellets from the old batch and refused to eat new ones. Since then he has refused to eat the new formula at all. I'm disappointed that I lost something he enjoyed and seemed to help him. Find something else now. I know I don't have much time with him.
