This sub does what I was hoping for. I wasn't planning on rocking the house, just adding bass for the music, which did a great job. As mentioned, if you're looking for a big bang from a floor-shaking subwoofer, this might not be an option to buy. But if you want to complement your music and provide a nicely balanced theatrical sound without loosening all the nails in your house, then this works great. The nice small size makes it a great option to fit almost anywhere. The buttons and controls on the back are easy to read and offer plenty of control once you play with them a bit. I'm sitting on a carpeted floor and the bass is enough for me. The downward porting adds a deep, rich sound that can be controlled depending on setup and surface. I am happy with this purchase. Don't let the size fool you, there's still plenty of room for it depending on how you set it up and adjust the volume and settings.
