I put my tiny hand inside these Timberland socks to show how snug they are. I actually felt it when they arrived but was hoping they would stretch after 1 wear. Blocks the circulation. As on my arm (reduces blood flow) unfortunately my husband cannot wear them due to the restrictive tightness, I wish I could return them and get my money back but doubt they will take it back as they have already been washed and worn. If you're buying socks for someone with very small, tight calves and calf muscles like a teenager, I'd recommend them. But if they're for a husband or someone with a normal adult foot size, you get numb feet from wearing socks because they're so tight and cut off blood flow.
