Not like before!

I have been wearing this brand/style of socks for several years now. I loved her. They were very soft and comfortable. No longer. They must have changed the way they were made. They are stiff, dense and feel completely different as if they were now an artificial material. I am very disappointed and will not buy them again.

Highly recommended for evening, casual or sport socks

I have had to reorder these socks for my husband several times - not because they are worn out but because he loves them. I bought a dress, casual and sports socks. My husband ONLY wears this brand. What he likes about them is that the footpad is soft and pliable, they stay up and don't roll down, and the heel doesn't wear out unlike the brands I bought for $25 a pair!

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

Buyers beware, they are very thin!

These aren't the Timberland socks that are as thick, soft and well cut as you might expect. They are very thin, dense and small. Was shocked when we received them. We have been buying Timberland socks from shoe stores for years and the quality is top notch. I think it might be fake but I'm not sure. I can't believe Timberland can make socks so uncomfortable and so thin. Feels very cheap on the foot. These are not warm socks. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

The fit is great if you can wear these tight socks above the ankle.

I don't know why, but this order fits if you can wear it. Socks are very tight when trying to put them on. Foot length fit is great but ankle or calf width is small. I literally have to work to put them on. I wear a size 9.5 which is definitely true to size. I now avoid using them unless I run out of clean socks. Something has changed because I've placed a few orders for these socks over the last 6 months.

  • Everything OK!

Are these fakes?

I loved Timberland socks - comfortable, thick enough, just beautiful. However, I just bought these four packs of Revain and didn't listen to the negative reviews - I should have. Also look at the logo in the picture. Looking down, I see orange and brown socks I bought three years ago - 'Timberland' reads. The ones I just got (black/grey) are Timberland backwards. I would not recommend you to buy these socks. Very disappointed; so much so that i wrote this long review.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities.
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model.

It's probably a trend, but I don't like socks where the skin shows through.

I've had a lot of experience with Timberland products for a few decades, but what happened to their socks? They vary in size, although each size fits snugly around the ankle. I have thin ankles so I often buy socks smaller than my shoes just to fit, but they have the opposite problem. They're like compression stockings. And it's impossible to tuck them under your pants - they're so thin - like a net. My skin is clearly visible through them. I want socks for everyday use, not for fishnet sex. I…

Too tight after 1 wash

I put my tiny hand inside these Timberland socks to show how snug they are. I actually felt it when they arrived but was hoping they would stretch after 1 wear. Blocks the circulation. As on my arm (reduces blood flow) unfortunately my husband cannot wear them due to the restrictive tightness, I wish I could return them and get my money back but doubt they will take it back as they have already been washed and worn. If you're buying socks for someone with very small, tight calves and calf…

Comfortable and durable

These socks are great. Very comfortable, holds up well. This is my second set (the first set was a stocking set for Christmas 2 years ago). My first set (4 pairs) has held up well under heavy use for the past 1.5 years. No holes, no signs of wear. I actually wear them to work, not socks, so I wear them a lot. They're a bit thicker than regular socks, but they're not hot (I wear them in the summer too). The Timberland Cool Max socks are thinner and keep feet cool, but they're not as good as…

If only there were perfect socks.

I received a package of these socks as a gift in 2011 and thought, thank you, you shouldn't have socks. As soon as I laid her on the legs supporting my ungrateful body, my tune changed. I never thought that a tube of fabric would fit the leg so perfectly. I cried a little. Fast forward to 2020. I started my work day looking for a pair of my favorite socks, luckily found them while wearing them and my pinky gave me away. This little idiot found a hole in the ground and ripped it apart to the…
