I go through 3 gallon tanks quickly with my reverse osmosis system. Usually once a year or so. The last 3 gallon tank I had lasted maybe 2. Before that, I think some of these whites only lasted a year. I bought the 6 gallons hoping they would last longer. I think the problem with smaller tanks is that they leak completely. This happens when I fill 5 gallon camping pitchers as well as emergency supplies. Hopefully next time I do this I won't have to drain the tank completely and will last longer. This one was good. It was sent well. The setup is the same as everyone else. I no longer use plastic valves as I have found that they break off a couple of times when threading onto the nipple. I recommend switching to a brass elbow and matching brass valve.
