We use this article all the time. It was a great tool. Much better than the typical "pliers" type riveting tool. We use it for long aluminum rivets in our shop: porta potty service. For those who don't know, these modern plastic outhouses are held together entirely with aluminum rivets. We don't assemble them with it (that is, it's better with pneumatic tools due to the number of rivets), but we do all kinds of repairs broken in the workshop and in the field. This tool was a relief from a pair of pliers. Now neither the boys nor I beg and we don't pull straws to "rivet". In fact I will be buying another one for our second truck and have it as a backup in case anything happens to that one. A few notes: A long rivet will require a few taps to fully install. But the effort is zero. You have to tilt the device and open the handles to make the stick fall into the trap. You must fully open the handle (jaws) to insert a new rivet.
