This is not made in the USA despite its high price. This case is made in China from very cheap Chinese-made thin material and sewn very randomly. It's not much better than the much cheaper Cyclegear cases. It's also not very waterproof. When I take off the cover after a rain, there are always quite a few drops of water underneath on the bike. From previous experience with a case of the same model, I've found that it doesn't last more than two years before fading and then cracking. I have old Nelson Rigg cases that have lasted far longer than any Dowco cases. The specific model of case has a dubious lifetime warranty, but the problem with that warranty is that Dowco requires the owner to send them a large patch that was cut from the case. stuff along with a $10 shipping fee to prove you actually own the case to get a replacement. This renders the cover unusable until Dowco decides, usually very late, to return the replacement unit. I recently bought some Velmia motorcycle covers designed in Germany (but also in China). They are much better quality (better materials, much more precise stitching) at a significantly lower price.
