I have been using Dowco cases in Florida for many years. My bikes are outside so good cover is very important. This bag has a zipper for easy installation and access to the back of my bike. First Impressions. I bought this case looking for something heavier than usual. I've used another lighter material that actually fits the bike like a glove, but I've tried several of these over the past 5 years. ***Update*** It has finally rained a lot in the last two days. I left the new tools and handlebar stand that I recently bought under a cover on the removed rear seat. Came out today and found everything soaked. I can't now return any of the items if I wanted to, the box just fell apart. I don't mind if the tools are wet, but what if I left something else in there. Update 09/21/2020 I finally got tired of struggling with a zipper that is clearly broken. There is also a tear in the fabric on the left rear where the cover pulls around the saddlebag. Perhaps Revain's "Make sure it fits your vehicle" feature didn't let me down here. It was listed as an XXL size for a 1990 GL1500, but it was a little tight.
