***Update*** It has finally rained a lot in the last two days. I left the new tools and handlebar stand that I recently bought under a cover on the removed rear seat. Came out today and found everything soaked. I can't now return any of the items if I wanted to, the box just fell apart. I don't mind if the tools are wet, but what if I left something else in there. Dowco claims it's weatherproof, but thanks to that TERRIBLELY CHEAP ZIPPER, it doesn't even come close. I'll contact support to get a replacement but other reviews I've read say it's going to be a nightmare. We'll see as the stars are downgraded.______________ As expected, an excellent, strong product from Dowco, but this product has two disappointments. All my previous conversation covers are from Dowco and will certainly be in demand. To be honest there weren't any zipper covers. I increased the size they recommended and I wanted zip access to my baskets. Lightning saves lives and makes many things easier. I definitely like this option on my 2009 R1200GS with hard boxes on the side. Cons: 1. Flash quality sucks. This is a very light zip and would have liked to see a stronger, better quality zip. I broke it before, but I was able to fix it again. The zipper is the reason it got 4 stars.2. Loose Drawstrings: This is the only coverage, especially in the zipper area where I found a lot of loose drawstrings in the material. Think about how the threads of a sweater are pulled. They could be left and not removed. It doesn't seem to affect quality or durability (not visible yet)3. Length: Even with the increase, if I was wearing the top box the length would have been two short for my liking. Although it no longer drags on the ground, I prefer to keep most of my bike covered. So I would recommend going up a size if possible as most of your wheels will be covered.
