Yes, it REALLY works! I was skeptical, but one of my three cats wasn't very cute and always wanted to fight me and other cats. So before we get rid of it, we decided to try a diffuser. After about a week he calmed down considerably. Even then I wasn't sure if it was the diffuser or if he was just getting a little older, but after using these things for about a year I noticed the same cat becoming irritable again and couldn't understand why. Then I realized the diffuser was probably empty for 2 weeks or so. So I swapped it out and it was fine again. The other two cats don't seem to be affected, but for a cat it's worth it.
