Just noticed another reviewer who prefers Astroglide and challenged a comparison. It happens that Astroglide was the product we had been using just prior to purchasing Uberlube. Our opinion? There is no comparison. While Astroglide was reasonably smooth it in no way had the staying power of Uberlube. For us, after just a few minutes Astroglide develops a definite tacky or sticky feel - and it definitely does not leave you with the clean feeling Uberlube does. As for Uberlube - we have not yet managed to outlast its effectiveness or felt a need for a second application. But we fully intend to continue our research!
