I really wanted this because I have a lot of chicken in the freezer, but it's completely useless. First you need to "wet" the suction cup on the bottom so it will stick to the counter and stand on its own. I'm assuming they've been sitting in someone's garage since the 80's and the plastic is hardened and the plastic doesn't give and doesn't suck at all. Okay, so I can hold and pump this thing myself. I oil the bag as instructed, pop the tubing into a ziplock bag, seal the inlet with styrofoam, and pump out the brains, and nothing, no vacuum seal. Long story short, after a lot of reading and re-reading instructions, watching videos on youtube and actually putting my finger on the opening of the tube to see if anything happened, but it wasn't. This thing is a stupid thing that doesn't work. Save money and buy a real vacuum sealer that works because this thing doesn't.
