Review on Adjustable Aluminum Support Pole System for iCOVER Premium Boat Cover by Ricky Mayo

Plastic on boat too thin

I have a 20" Alumaweld sled and bag. They're parked outside and I've used whatever I can think of to prop them up so they don't make little puddles in the suitcase. Belt "I've had it. With ratchet wrenches it took me 20 minutes at most to get the bar and straps in place. I've noticed that the bar slips off if too much pressure is put on it, but if I have to I'll use gorilla tape use it to prevent it from sliding down it's ok now my only concern is the plastic parts can be thicker with good or bad results this looks perfect for my boat now update it's not a perfect solution , but it's the best I've used. I had to glue a bar to hold it in place. My 2 rear straps attach to it with small rear spikes and ratchet tensioners. I had to use the straps adjust a few times to take up the slack. I still have to maintain Bitumen P in problem areas. I don't regret it until it breaks. I try not to overtighten so as not to break the strap connections on the canopy. Damned! One of the strap holes on the plastic dome broke when repositioned. The tape was unable to stand due to the weight of the collected water and crushed the post. Wrapped a strap around the bar and used more tape. The stars are fading fast.
