I never leave bad reviews but I get angry. I just got this M.2 drive to replace the 256GB in my laptop. The laptop only has one M.2 slot. I have an NVMe-enabled case, but it's not a Sabrent brand. The case works and I formatted the drive and the Sabrent control panel SEE THE DRIVE as Sabrent. I can see the condition and the serial number. When I go to clone, Acronis doesn't recognize it as Sabrent and doesn't install it. Anna, a Sabrent Support Engineer, seems to have already heard my sad story. She said it only recognizes the motherboard or a Sabrent-branded case. Your only suggestion is that I will pay for non-OEM cloning software. i have a better idea NEVER BUY FROM SABRENT AGAIN after returning this perfectly working hardware secured with software lures and switches.
