Pretty solid product!

I tested it several times on steak and other things. In general, it's pretty solid. Easy to handle. And my steaks come out just right. The design is elegant and I love that there is a magnet at the base that allows me to attach it to the fridge. But you have to be careful, the stick gets very hot and you should always use gloves or something similar when pulling it out. I used it in combination with Insta-Grill. A few tips I understood.1. Be aware of how much heat you get from the environment, this will affect how long or how early you should take the meat out. 2. Use a glove or cloth when you pull it out of the flesh to avoid burning yourself.3. Don't wash it immediately or put it in water. Instead, let it cool before cleaning. (metal hitting something cold deforms metal) 4. If you're using an Insta-Grill, your alarm should go off at 15 degrees below your target temperature. Buy your own batteries. If you haven't already. Just good to have this and other gadgets at home. As an engineer, I'm always looking for ways to improve things. And I have a few suggestions for Creators.1. It would be nice to have a visual indicator on the stick that can tell you if it's still "hot". This is probably not possible as the heat will melt the LED. Except maybe a material that changes color when heated? 2. Make the base rechargeable, we are in an age where anything can be charged with Micro USB or USB C.3. Make the app smarter instead of hard-coded temperature alerts and the like. Make it more dynamic. You can detect ambient heat and internal heat. You can calculate how and when to remove the steak to account for residual heat and the effect of ambient heat on it. If the ambient heat is 200, you can take it off at 130 (goal 135). But if it's 500, you should probably lower it down to 120 (goal 135).4. I also understand why you need more app permissions, but try reducing app permissions and battery usage.
