Like the reviewer who posted two days ago (January 7, 2021), I too was unable to complete the initial setup even though I deleted the app from my iPhone (to erase all data) by reinstalling them and re-running the in-app setup at least 4 times. I tested it several times on steak and other things. In general, it's pretty solid. Easy to handle. And my steaks come out just right. The design is elegant and I love that there is a magnet at the base that allows me to attach it to the fridge. I bought this MeatStick set as an early Christmas present for myself. My first impression when opening, the supplied case is good. It looks like there will be some empty slots if you buy more MeatSticks. Including 2 thermometers.
