Like the reviewer who posted two days ago (January 7, 2021), I too was unable to complete the initial setup even though I deleted the app from my iPhone (to erase all data) by reinstalling them and re-running the in-app setup at least 4 times. Every time I complete setup, my MeatStick just disappears from the "Cook" screen in the app. I'm very tech savvy and can usually solve these types of problems on my own, but not this time. As a side note, the MeatStick *never* showed up on my iPhone's Bluetooth settings screen - neither as a connected device nor as a discovered device. I checked several times during the installation and also after the installation finished. It never showed up so I suspect this device has a bluetooth connection error. I've emailed MeatStick support - I'll reply if/when I get an update from them. EDIT: A week after contacting the manufacturer I have not received anything back - I am coming back for a refund.
