Birdman's test is worth the money. This case is designed to fit a slightly smaller iPhone 12 mini (compared to the 6, 7 and 8) so you don't end up with extra bulk. If you are also using a protective case, make sure it is no larger than a standard slim case, otherwise it will be too tight and difficult to remove. I should also note that the ends are stretchy material and may tear over time for a looser fit.
