I received an "updated/upgraded" version which has a 2 piece bolt clamp with 2 screws. Installing it on my V-strom was very difficult as the handlebars are close to a lot of other things and it jammed when trying to use the small hex key. The screws faced up for me so blindly tightening them 1/6 turn at a time was painful and took forever to experiment with placement. The non-upgraded version has a screw that is more accessible, but it really depends on the number of gears and their placement. It didn't work for me and I'm just going to use a RAM mount but it seemed pretty solid on the phone and in rotation but you need room for your hands to tighten those screws which I don't have.
